On Sunday 8th March 2020 Connect Stars in partnership with Wembley Football and Wembley National Stadium Trust will be hosting The Wembley Cup, a football tournament for girls aged u11 – u13.

The tournament will be in celebration of National Women’s Day by providing a platform for female footballers in Brent to showcase their abilities and talents.

Zaffar Van Kalwala is one of the events organisers and and an advocate for the development and cohesion of young people within Brent. “A fantastic way to pay tribute to the great contributions made by women and girls in our community. Will always be humbled and grateful for the excellent support I’ve received from women (including family, friends and colleagues) to help me achieve my many important goals”

The tournament takes place at Ark Elvin Academy, Wembley, HA9 7DU.
