AFC Wembley U15s have secured a place in what will be their second cup final in the 2017/18 season.

A fantastic performance from the 15’s saw them defeat Ickenham FC 2-6 in the HYFL Challenge Cup Semi-Finals. U15s coach Ahmed Jama stated the following:

It was a great effort from the boys to reach our second cup final of the season and maintain our unbeaten season. It was a tight first half with Ickenham working hard to deny us any space. We were able to take the lead with a great free kick from Shane McGuinness-Clifford and made it 2-0 a short while later with a great finish from Jordan Grey who skilfully beat two men on the edge of the box. It was a much more open second half from both teams with the game ending 6-2, taking our goals tally to 102 goals this season in 18 games. It puts us in a great position to win trophies with 2 cup finals to come as well as being in a strong position in the league.

A major well done to all coaches and players on the Semi-final victory.

Details of the final will be confirmed in due time.
